The Inspiration Behind the book “Let’s Talk About Touching and The Safety Heroes
The Safety Heroes, Captain Safe and Mighty Grace were inspired by author Zoe’ Howlett’s younger siblings, Eymoni and Antwaan Howlett. Watching how curious, loving, and full of energy they were, Zoe wanted to create a fun and empowering way to help them and other children understand body safety, boundaries, and confidence.
What began as a big sister’s way to protect her family became a movement to protect all kids. Through her stories, Zoe teaches that every child deserves to feel safe, know their worth, and use their voice.
